What a convivial opening night celebration shared with wonderful people who delighted in our punch and platters of food.
The works were installed without a hitch and with no room to spare with willing assistance from Murray at Mint. Thanks Murray!
It was great to see our diverse responses to the theme of 'Shadow Self' taken from an essay by Virginia Woolf. There were historical and psychoanalytical references as well as domestic and feminist viewpoints. All in all, it was a celebration of womanhood in light of the recent International Woman's Day held on March 8, 2015.
